ParcelClear

Three customs shocks hit in July. Your platform's tools didn't keep up.

US de minimis is gone and tariffs change again on July 24. The EU now charges €3 per item line on every parcel under €150 — and it's the seller's problem. Etsy requires DDP shipping to the US, while its own calculator is still in beta. We map what actually works — carrier by carrier, country by country, with sources and dates.

Free: the DDP Route Matrix

The one table nobody publishes: which carriers and label services really ship DDP to the US from the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Türkiye, Ukraine, Australia, Japan and Vietnam — including what doesn't work, so you stop burning evenings on support chats. Every route is independently re-checked and dated.

What changed — in one minute

US · moving target

Every parcel is dutiable. The $800 de minimis exemption is gone for all countries, permanently. The current 10% surcharge expires July 24, 2026 — and what replaces it depends on your country of origin. We publish the answer the morning it lands.

EU · since July 1

€3 per item line, paid by the declarant — you. Not per parcel: a parcel with three different product types owes €9. Checkout tools were caught unprepared; carriers each bill it differently. Getting this wrong quietly eats your margin.

Etsy · since July 9

No DDP, no Purchase Protection. Tariffs charged to your buyer get deducted from your payouts, and DDP now feeds search ranking. Meanwhile buyers are still told customs is their job. You need a route that works today.
